As St. Helena Island native Candice Glover finished in the top three of this week's installment of American Idol, a Fox film crew is now headed to downtown Beaufort today, March 15, to make a video segment with more background on Glover's community.

The public is invited to attend — be at the Waterfront Park pavilion at noon.

On Wednesday night Glover performed Ben E. King's "I (Who Have Nothing)", check out the video up top.

Glover will perform again next week to battle to make it into the top eight next week from 8 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20. The final show is slated for May 16.
