Beaufort's Tricentennial Logo

Well it's arrived, what's surely to be one of the busier weekends for downtown Beaufort.

It starts tonight, Friday, with the Gary Sinise and Lt. Dan Band concert in Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. That's at 8:30 p.m.

Then on Saturday, the Lt. Dan 5K kicks off at 8:45 a.m. at Bay and Bladen streets, then at 9:30 the Beaufort Tricentennial Parade through downtown Beaufort, with Sinise serving as grand marshal, and finally the Lt. Dan Bike Ride at 10 a.m. at the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.

And note that this parade starts 30 minutes earlier than the standard, this Saturday it will be at 9:30 a.m.
