St. Peter’s annual Oyster Roast and International Microbrew Festival returning

St. Peter’s 8th Annual Oyster Roast and International Microbrew Festival returns on Saturday, March 2, at Live Oaks Park in Port Royal at 1 p.m.

This year's event adds a 5K in Port Royal at 11 a.m.

A rain date is set for Sunday, March 3.

It's $25.

The Oyster Roast Committee organizes this annual fundraiser in support of their children's school. Sponsorships are now being accepted at a variety of levels. For details call the school office at (843) 522-2163. Guests at this year's event will enjoy an all you can eat buffet of oysters and beer; local delicacies will
also be for sale from specially invited area chefs. Once again children under 14 yrs of age will have their own FREE menu. Free, supervised Children's Fun Court will include dedicated adult supervision; secure drop-off with Positive ID for parent and child; and a host of activities in the playground. Live Music featuring "The Steppin' Stones" and entertainment will include a live DJ, inflatable rides, games and activities for the kids. A Live Auction featuring vacation packages, chartered fishing trips, hunting rifles, original artwork, wine tasting parties, catered dinners, rounds of golf and more, a Silent Auction and more will be followed by a bonfire that will round out the event.

They will again offer a microbrew tasting booth with an international array of microbrews, beer and wine. Now accepting event sponsorships.
