Downtown streets were closed to traffic Thursday afternoon as local merchants treated children and their families to the best of Halloween delights - candy! 

The fun was part of the annual Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Beaufort event, presented by Main Street Beaufort, USA and the merchants of downtown Beaufort.

More than 65 stores and businesses along Bay Street and beyond offered up treats and mild tricks.
