Ah, yes, the Super Bowl has once again come and gone, and you know what that means: time is short to get your Valentine's Day plans in order.
The date to mark is less than a week away: Monday, February 14.
While it can be pretty easy to return to your favorite watering whole or organize a beer and meat throw down, it can be trickier to find a good spot to take that significant other out for dinner and social fun.
So here's a rundown of places doing special things for Valentine's Day — and we'll update as we hear more.
Dining options
Join in a "Sublime Valentine's Day Celebration" at Saltus on Monday from 5 to 10 p.m. with a three course meal for $39. Menu. (843) 379-3474.
Make a night of it at Southern Graces who is doing a pair of dinners on Saturday and Monday from 6 to 10 p.m. dubbed "For the Love of Food - A Valentine's Celebration with Southern Graces Bistro" that offer a three-course meal for $45 per person including champagne. Menu. (843) 379-0555. (They're also offer Strawberry Champagne Cupcakes in a ribbon wrapped box with a custom created personalized note — and they'll deliver.)
In honor of the alignment on a Monday, Breakwater will be opening up Monday night with their full menu. (843) 379-0052.
Celebrate on Friday, Saturday, or Monday night with Wren's four-course pre fixe Valentine's menu running in tandem with their regular menu. Special menu. (843) 524-9463.
Party, socialize, and sleep
Enjoy some art at The Gallery's Valentine's Art Walk. 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday. 802 Bay Street. Alcohol will be served.

Celebrate in style at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital's annual Valentine Ball fundraiser on Saturday, February 12. $150 per person, $300 per couple. 9:30 p.m. at the Lyceum on Parris Island.
