A Taste of Beaufort festival back in town (update: photos, video)

At last year's event.

Update May 8: The festival has come and gone and likely left you with a tan, a few ounces heavier, and, hopefully, with some good memories.

If you couldn't make it, I'll shoot you over to WSAV 3 who for their short video report, or to The Island Packet for a couple photos.

Update May 7: Heads up, the hours are melting away to the big day at one of Beaufort's tastiest festivals.

The race and shagging were on Friday but the main event of feasting is today.

Luckily that bit of iffy weather that overshadowed Friday night has moved on and we're do for a sunny day with little chance of rain and highs in the mid-80s. Nice.

The below preview will still serve you well, but know The Island Packet has also published a solid one with a few more details; read it here.
