Chain Free Beaufort is putting on a howl of time with their Howling Halloween party and canine costume contest to benefit the group dedicated to stopping dog chaining.

The event is at Hemingway's Bistro from noon to 4 on Sunday, October 24, with pet registration starting at 1. They're also promising fun activities for children, adults, and a special surprise.

Registration is $5 per dog. Hemingway's Bistro is at 920 Bay Street on Beaufort's Waterfront Park.
