Part one of the two-part, weekend event is an "anything but pork" party. Just as the title suggests, registered contestants serve thier entrees to the crowd provided that they are 100% pork free. That event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Friday at the Beaufort Town Center. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the door.

Saturday's signature event is planned to run from noon to 4 p.m. and will also be held at the Beaufort Town Center. A variety of dishes will be on offer from a number of different contestants. The tournaments judges, all of whom are members of the South Carolina Barbeque Association, will be awarding cash prizes and trophies to the best of each catagory. Tickets are $15 each.

The event is at Beaufort Town Center on Boundary Street.
