Check out the piece here.

Reported June 14: Add Pick Pocket Plantation to the list of farmers markets that populate northern Beaufort County.

Starting Tuesday, June 21, from 2 to 7 p.m., and continuing on Tuesdays for the rest ofthe summer, Pick Pocket Plantation Farmer’s Market will feature vendors offering locally grown fresh food right on the grounds of this 15-acre restored plantation only 5 minutes from downtown Beaufort. That's all according to a press release shot out yesterday.

There are plantation tours, a horse stable, kids activities, livemusic (opening with blues by Bill Dupont), and a wide selection of foods to choose from.

The Island Packet had writeup on the new market earlier this week, and you can check that out here.

You can check out the map below, but the address is 93 Trask Farm Road.

You also can check out the new market's page over on Facebook.
