Don't forget that Beaufort's annual trick-or-treating session downtown is today from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Whether you're headed down to partake or trying to avoid it, you should be aware of the street closures that are in effect:

• Bay Street will be closed from Charles to Carteret streets
• Scott Street will be closed in front of Wells Fargo Advisors and at Port Republic Street
• West Street will be closed from Bay Street to Port Republic Street
• Port Republic Street will be closed from Scott Street to Charles Street
