Update at bottom

Reported Oct. 25: The case of a missing Hilton Head Island couple that fascinated Beaufort County residents and gained attention from national media will be the focus of the Nov. 1 episode of "Disappeared" on the Investigation Discovery channel, a sister station of Discovery.

The case of Liz and John Calvert is long and complex. The well-to-do island residents went missing in March 2008 and a business partner who was identified as a suspect in their deaths ultimately killed himself.

After a yearlong search the couple was declared dead by a probate court judge.

The details of the case are almost too much to go through. Your best bet would be to check The Island Packet archives.

Anyway, thanks to WSAV's Holly Bounds for pointing out that this case will be hitting Investigation Discovery, though unless you have a pretty good cable subscription you probably don't get the channel.

If you do get  the channel, the episode will be on at 10 p.m. Nov. 1.

Updated Nov. 3: Chances are you don't have the Investigation Discovery Channel and thus couldn't watch Monday's episode of "Disappeared," which chronicled the case of Liz and John Calvert.

You can however watch it online for just a couple of dollars. Itunes already has the episode in its library. Follow this link to find it. It'll cost you $2 to buy the episode off Itunes.

Amazon's Video on Demand also has the episode online here. Amazon also will cost you $2.
