The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Team is planning a traffic safety checkpoint tonight, December 29, from 10 p.m. to midnight on Boundary St (US 21 N) near Greenlawn Drive.

The checkpoint will look for violations of any laws, with emphasis on violations related to driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, and insurance.

Drivers passing through the checkpoint will be asked to produce their driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance for their vehicle.
