Updated May 2: Well last night was the big premier of the Beaufort episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Reported April 11: At long, long last the date for the Beaufort County build of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" has been announced...
Drumroll, please.
May 1st at 8 p.m., and again, that's on ABC.
Organizers are also planning a public viewing party from 6 to 9 that night at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in downtown. There will be a picnic on the lawn while the episode plays on the big screen.
H2 Builders and the Dickinsons will be present and admission is free, but donations to the Praise Cares organization of Beaufort or a non-perishable food item is welcomed.
Picnic food from local vendors will also be available for purchase during the viewing party.
In case you've forgotten, the excitement of the build went down all the way back in January.
