Plaid About Reading competition

The Heritage Classic Foundation has introduced a Plaid About Reading program, a competition for area elementary school students in grades K-5
 

The Plaid About Reading program will run from March 21, 2011 through April 11, 2011.  

  • The school that reads the most books will win $1,000.

  • The class that reads the most books will win a pizza party and a visit from the Heritage spokesman himself, Sir William (Willie) Innes.

  • The student who reads the most books from each class (K-5) will join pro golfers at The Heritage and putt with the PGA Tour pros at the famed Harbour Town Golf Links in The Sea Pines Resort on Tuesday, April 19.

The deadline to enter the Heritage Classic Foundation's Plaid About Reading competition is March 16th. For details about reading and page requirements or to inquire about entering a school in the competition send an email to willie@heritageclassicfoundation.com or call (843) 785-3200.
