Behind the scenes with the judging talent for the Beaufort County science fair
Flickr user CaZaTo Ma
When the Sea Island Regional Science Fair comes to Beaufort County this May, it will bring with it three distinguished judges seeking to find the world's next great young mind.
The judges include a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, a rocket scientist, and a retired Emory University professor of surgery. The winner of the Sea Island science fair will be automatically entered in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in California for the chance to win $1,000.
The Island Packet's Kate Cerve has a nice profile about the talent that's applied and what it took for it all to come together; read that profile here.
