Updated April 19: Doesn't look like anyone can beat SCAD at these things.

The SCAD team won its seventh title, and fourth in a row.

Check out the SCAD website for a release on the win.

Reported March 23: Jasper County will host the  2011 ANRC National Intercollegiate Equitation Championship next month. Well it's actually Savannah College of Art and Design that's hosting, but their facility is indeed in Jasper County.

The ANRC Intercollegiate Equitation Championship is a national championship where colleges showcase their most talented riders in a team competition judged and scored on both a written test and riding skills. Among the almost twenty schools scheduled to join SCAD in the competition are Virginia Intermont, Goucher College, Centenary College, Georgia Southern, Otterbein College and Sweet Briar College. Awards will be presented to both school and individual champions.

The SCAD team is looking for a fourth-straight title in this event, and this is SCAD's first year hosting.

We'll send you over to the SCAD press release for the full schedule and ticket details if you're interested in watching.
