Beaufort Memorial Hospital joins 'Spirit of Women' campaign (w/videos)

Beaufort Memorial Hospital has joined a national program aimed at providing more focussed programming and patient care for the region's female population.

BMH is the only Lowcountry hospital to be part of the Spirit of Women network, and kicked off its participation with October events in Bluffton and Beaufort. Video of the events is below.

Here's a brief overview of the Spirit of Women program from its website:

Spirit of Women becomes an umbrella
concept
 for how your hospital talks to women in your community over all service
lines.

Spirit of Women provides member hospitals programs
that target core business strategies with innovative outreach initiatives,
extraordinary events and creative communications that motivate women and their
families to take action for their health.

BMH also has created a Spirit of Women page off of its own website, where it is encouraging women to become members of the network.

That BMH is the only hospital in the Lowcountry, including in Charleston and Savannah, that offers this program certainly helps the facility set itself apart from others.
