Parking, it's the issue that just when you think it's gone in Beaufort, it's back.

Today The Island Packet published a brief on the mid-December move of the ERA Evergreen Real Estate company from their downtown Beaufort office from lower Cateret Street to Boundary street, aka Uptown.

One should point out that the move happened well within the kiosk era of Bay Street, though Carteret Street has remained monitored by coin-fed meters.

The company, which also has offices in both Bluffton and Hilton Head, said that the lack of parking spaces in the old location caused problems for their clients and agents, and that the new location should prove more convenient for everyone involved.
