David Taylor was missing from his Sun City residence since August 2 and suspicions were high that a body found in Okatie could be his.

Although the body was found Monday, August 6, it would take the whole week for officials to come back with a firm match that the body was that of Taylor. The official report is that Taylor, 55, died from a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head — though there is little in public discourse as to why he may of committed the act.
