According to the crime reports released in March 7's edition of The Island Packet, a $4,000 car was stolen in Beaufort over the weekend.

No word on the specifics of the incident, although it was believed to take place around the area of Centerview Drive. Other noteworthy happenings include vandalizations to separate cars in both Hilton Head and Bluffton. About $500 worth of damage was the estimated amount for the former, with about $1,250 to the latter.
