Changing law for food and vendors could save Hardeeville, S.C. welcome centers

We previously mentioned how local groups are trying to figure out a way to save the welcome center at Hardeeville on I-95 thanks to big budget cuts.

Well a story in today's Post & Courier illuminates as to why South Carolina has been barred from adding fast food, gas stations, and other vendors to pad their revenues, and what the forecast might be for changing the federal law.
