The battle over the legality of Ridgeland's officer-assisted traffic camera system on I-95 has been unusually silent in the last 60 days or so — which seems to have been just about enough time for the minor details in the town's relationship with its camera vendor to emerge.
Bluffton Today has an interesting report that revolves around a series of emails sent between Ridgeland and iTraffic over what the best practices are and how aggressive the town should be. In it, an aggressive stance comes through by iTraffic, one that challenges the town's authoritative stance on its control.
And, as always, stay tuned for more reports and get back coverage on our topic page.
