Planning the wind-down of the Lowcountry Economic Network

While the banks have yet to foreclose on the much-debated Beaufort Commerce Park, it seems local leaders plan to waste little time in a shutdown of the Lowcountry Economic Network.
As soon as Wednesday, the decision could be in place as to when and how the plug will be pulled and how gaps in local economic development could be covered.
