South Carolina Gov.-elect Nikki Haley named her lineup of senior staff today, and it includes a tourism leader on Hilton Head Island.

Katherine Veldran, director of Operations for ResortQuest Hilton Head Island, was named Haley's legislative liaison. 

Veldran also is chairwoman of membership for the Hilton Head Hospitality Association.
