Two alligators, weighing in at a combined total of 1,652 pounds, were pulled out of two South Carolina lakes over the past five days. (video below)
It started with Mary Ellen Mara-Christian, who was alligator hunting on Lake Marion on Wednesday, September 15. She caught a 13-foot, 1,025 pound alligator.
Check out the story at WIS News 10 in Columbia.
Then this past weekend a group of hunters hooked a more than 13-foot, 627-pound alligator in Lake Marion.
You can check out that story and video over at WTOC.
Combine those with another more than 500-pound gator caught on Lake Marion over the weekend and that's nearly a ton of gator.
