Albergotti Creek Bridge replacement project to begin soon, DOT says
Built in 1948 and due to be replaced as far back as 2008, the Albergotti Creek Bridge (map) near Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort has long been listed as one of South Carolina's worst bridges, but a new bridge is finally due to be built by October 2015.
This year the bridge place No. 10 on AAA Carolinas' "2013 SC Substandard Bridge Ranking".
