A Hilton Head Island-based Piedmont Airlines flight bound for Washington, D.C., lost contact with the FAA and caused a temporary evacuation of Capitol Hill this morning.
FoxNews.com has a brief writeup on what happened. The issue ultimately was resolved without major incident, though it's still under investigation.
Piedmont is a wholly owned subsidiary of US Airways that flies out of Hilton Head Airport.
