The University of South Carolina Beaufort's soon to graduate Master of Arts in Teaching students will be the last to do so at the Lowcountry university for the foreseeable future. 

The program has fallen under the budgetary axe and it's not just local would-be students that will miss the program, but so will area schools that have scooped up many of the graduates.
