17-year-old Semaj Johnson was out swimming with three friends on Wednesday, however Johnson tried to turn back to shore but never made it.

Update June 22: The news of Johnson's death has been a hit to the community and Beaufort Hight School, who already saw the death of two students in a car wreck earlier this year.
