The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control are joining forces with local veterinarians to provide inexpensive rabies shots for cats and dogs at clinics around the area.

Vaccinations will cost $10 per pet, and after having the shot administered must wear the rabies tag supplied by the veterinarian. Also, the DHEC asked that dogs be kept on a leash and cats in a box or carrier.

To see a complete list of clinics cross the county who offering the service, check out the Packet's article.
