Beware the media's bark more than an S.C. shark bite

Want to see sharks in South Carolina? Only expect to have luck if you go to the S.C. Aquarium (pictured.)

Hear the one about South Carolina's Fripp Island having one of "America's Most Shark-Infested Beaches"?

Yeah, we're calling baloney, too, big beefy baloney that you just want to sink your pointy sharp... What? Oh, right.

But you won't find many-a-man-eating-shark in South Carolina, and you'd be able to count the number of bites per year on one hand.

That said, as much as I'd love to tear that aforementioned piece to shreds, the Charleston Regional Business Journal has beat me to it (read their take over here).

But, now, if you do want to see some sharks, shark week kicks off at the S.C. Aquarium on July 29.
