FlingGolf Opens 2015 Season at Old South Golf Links

New action sport launches first annual tour to increase revenue and engagement for golf courses

Who: FlingGolf founder and FlingStick creator, Alex Van Alen will be joined by members of the Old South Golf links staff and local community.  

What:  FlingGolf founder, Alex Van Alen will instruct players in the new action sport for golf courses. A golf/lacrosse hybrid played alongside traditional golf, the first annual Spring FlingGolf tour will kick off at Old South Golf Links. There will be open practice on the range and a 9-hole tournament with course record contest featuring FlingGolf prizes and awards. The event will also include a two-man scramble golf tournament on the back 9. 

The Spring FlingGolf event at Old South Golf Links is open to the public and will include a BBQ dinner, soft drinks and $1 draft beers. Adults - $15; Kids (12 and under) - $9; Two man scramble players - $30; free for press. All prices include dinner and rental FlingSticks.
