F-35B fighter jets continue to queue up for Beaufort air base

F-35B vertical take-off capable fighter jets are continuing to queue up for the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort.

The Island Packet writes that the recent addition of three planes brings the total up to six.

Some $700 million in new facilities are underway and planned for the air station as it readies for its new role of being an F-35B training ground sometime in 2014.
