Beaufort County Sheriffs had a busy night on Wednesday, March 22, jailing 23 county residents on crimes ranging from and including shoplifting, grand larceny, dug possession, fraud, and attempted murder.

The 69 year-old man being held for attempted murder hails from Brays Island, South Carolina, and was taken into custody shortly after noon on March 22. The man suspected to have of grand larceny was too detained on March 22, his booking time is listed to have occurred around 4:30 p.m.
