South Carolina costal town takes on 'Yarn-Bombing Grannies'

A crazy little story by way of our Myrtle Beach sister site of a crackdown on those who would dare to encase public property with knitting.

The practice of yarn bombing isn't nearly as terrorist as it sounds. It's really just a non-destructive form of street art designed to add whimsy and color to the scenery.

Well, somebody in Conway doesn't like it and the City of Conway has taken their issue to Conway Glass according to a local blog called Black Water Honey. In a recent update, the Black Water Honey Blog says the City of Conway has finally given a deadline for taking down the biodegradable material or else

Nutty stuff, though I'd love to see some in Beaufort.
