Truer Words, a Novel & Event by Kim Poovey @ ARTworks

 "Truer Words" is a novel about Emma Victoria Brown, a woman born in the Lowcountry of South Carolina during the Victorian era. Share in Emma's childhood antics, love, sorrows, Civil War experiences, and ambitions. Poovey has reenacted many Victorian roles, including Mrs. Stanton in the 2011 movie The Conspirator— and she has the ladylike wardrobe to prove it.
