Two days of BBQ to support Habitat for Humanity
On Friday and Saturday (June 8-9) Lowcountry Habitat for Humanity is hosting the fundraising High On The Hog Barbeque Festival with as much BBQ and music as you can handle.
Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. ($10) is "Everything LowCountry" with all you can taste samples and people's choice voting for the best of the night. Music will be by Chris Holly.
Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ($12) the main High On The Hog BBQ Competition lands with cooking teams from across the Carolinas and Georgia competing in a SC BBQ Association sanctioned event for the "Best Butt & the Best Smokin' Ribs in Beaufort" title.
All events are at Whitehall Plantation on Lady's Island (map below).
Kids under 10 are free; score tickets here.
