Remember the good news that came out about South Carolina tourism being up $1 billion, and Hilton Head hotel occupancy being up 5.1% in December?

Well, South Carolina is seeing at least some of that love.

The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce wrote that hotel occupancy for February 2012,  "was up six percent over February 2011 - a trend we hope continues in the coming months as our peak season arrives."

Let's hope that this jump in late winter tourism carries through again this year.
