Oakland Elem a bright spot in Charleston's school design ascension

I've been following the new schools constructed across Charleston County a little bit, and it's true, these certainly aren't the squat simple schools of my childhood.
And that's a point that The Post and Courier's Robert Behre is trying to drive home in his piece about the new Oakland Elementary School in West Ashley; take a read here and look at the photos here.
And seeing as voters just approved a penny tax to fund more school construction, the public must be happy, too.
