Their collections ranged from superhero inspired, to whimsical childrens wear, retro 1950s glamour and bohemian beauty.

The eight finalists in the South East Emerging Designer Competition held the spot light last night for the first night of Charleston Fashion Week.

The eight finalists included: Uriel Zamora, Hannalei Taylor, Barbara Beach, Jamie Lin Snider, Chelsie Ravenel, Larika Page, Julia Faye Davidson and Anna Lassiter.

After the eight runway shows, and a featured show by Progect Runway veteran and Charleston rooted designer Gordana Gehlhausen, the Top 3 were announed on stage.

The 2010 Southeast Emerging Design Competition Finalists are: Larika Page, Barbara Beach and Jamie Lin Snider.

The three are now charged with the challenge to turn 10 white men's oxford looks, donated to Charlesotn Fashion Week by Goodwill Industries, into three cohesive looks by Saturday.
