More evolved design turning up in fast food architecture

While the food may still lean on the over salted side, higher skill levels of architecture seem to be working their way into the design of area fast food locations.
In that vein Robert Behre over at The Post and Courier is musing about the higher design choices put in place at the new Bojangles' on Savannah Highway at River Road near Johns Island; read his column here.
Memory reminds of bragging by McDonalds when they revamped their Crosstown location to be more inline with Charleston's historic style.
