The Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association, which recently acquired Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival, announced today that the fourth annual event will take place June 3-9, 2013.
Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival is the Myrtle Beach, S.C. area’s premier food, wine and spirits festival. Started in 2009, Coastal Uncorked has enjoyed treating visitors and locals to the best in food, wine, spirits, arts and entertainment. Coastal Uncorked aims to shine a light on all that makes the culinary scene along the Grand Strand unique. With more restaurants per capita than any other city in the state, Myrtle Beach is home to more than 1,700 dining establishments.
“We felt moving Coastal Uncorked into the first week of June would allow us to kick off the summer season, provide an opportunity for aggressive hotel packaging of the event and increase supplemental room nights to drive additional revenues into the Grand Strand,”-Stephen Greene, President & CEO for the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association.
Coastal Uncorked is the signature year round event brand for the hospitality association and is utilized to promote the culinary side of the hospitality industry and the destination.
