Pop-up restaurant Pigeon promises a unique dining experience

Pigeon is the collaborative effort of creative design studio Fuzzco and two F&B veterans--and its tagline of "Good food for curious hayseeds" reveals that this restaurant won't offer your typical dining experience.

Mixologist Brooks Reitz reveals that Pigeon will be less of a straight-up restaurant and more of an art show with some food thrown in. The concept for Pigeon was inspired by artist Jennifer Rubell's work, which consists of large-scale food exhibitions such as dripping honey from the ceiling onto delicious ribs.

The first Pigeon event is slated for late August or early September, and the concept won't be revealed until the actual dinner begins. The dinner could consist of anything from hosting a late-night breakfast-for-dinner party to recreating famous movie food scenes, and the experience could cost anywhere from $20 to $100. So you really won't know what you're getting into...until you're already in it.
