After being homeless for weeks, senior gains home through state program

Imagine living alone in your car, in 20 degree weather, all while having chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This was a reality for Charleston resident Elizabeth Schmidt.

After spending several weeks like, Elizabeth Schmidt has a home once again.

And she has the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging to thank for that turnabout.
