The rich history of a subtle Spring Street building
A Google image of 85 1/2 Spring Street when it was still a hat shop.
The Post and Courier has a piece on the history and evolution of the 85 1/2 Spring Street structure nestled neatly in the Cannonborough neighborhood.
Fuzzco, a local business that specializes in websites, logos and online ads recently took over the spot which over the years has been a commercial laundry service, neighborhood laundromat, a church and a hat shop.
The article focuses mostly on the recent renovations and redesign, but it's still a fun little read. Oh, and don't forget to check out The Post and Courier's photo gallery or Fuzzco's Flickr gallery of the entire renovation process.
