I'll be covering Charleston Fashion Week 2010 from the model's perspective. Updates from on and off the runway throughout the week. Here's your introcution to me.
Q: Where are you from?
A: Lexington, Kentucky.
Q: What is your favorite Charleston hotspot?
A: Halls when I'm feeling sparkly, Upper Deck when I'm slumming it.
Q: What do you do when you are not preparing for CFW?
A: I'm the Gallery Coordinator for Eye Level Art.
Q: How many Charleston Fashion Week events have you modeled in?
A: This will be my second Charleston Fashion Week.
Q: What was your favorite CFW experience or moment in 2009?
A: Other than waking up at 5am to be at the tents at 7am for Bridal Couture after going to sleep at 3am? Ah, meeting Mychael Knight.
Q: What are you looking forward to most for CFW 2010?
A: The clothes. The people. The parties. Of course.
Q: Which shows/designers are you modeling for?
A: Seeking Indigo, House of Sage, Gwynn's, Copper Penny, White. I'm also an alternate for Uriel Zamora & Teal.
Q: Outside of rehearsals, how do you prepare for CFW 2010?
A: Playing La Roux too loud while stomping around the gallery, working with my trainer, and forcing myself to do yoga. Ouch!
Q: What would be your advice for aspiring models for CFW 2011?
A: Have fun. This is all meant to be fun. Don't ever forget that.
Q: What is your favorite fashion trend for summer 2010?
A: I love bizarre accessories. My best friend is making a leather disco ball headband I hope to wear to Fashion Week.
Q: What music/band/DJ are you listening to when getting exciting about CFW 2010?
A: La Roux, Dragonette, Jay-Z's On To The Next One, Passion Pit.
