What can I say about Thursday night? Aside from the late start and an even more begrudging finish, the show was relatively decent.

The show kicked off with Daniel D, an award-winning violinist who got the crowd hype with his rendition of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". Tonight was also the night of the first ever "Rock the Runway" competition which pitted the top ten male and female models from the week in a Zoolander-esque walk-off.

The biggest disappointment of the night came from Charleston Place galleria staple, Tommy Bahama, who put on a rather uninspiring show for the crowd. The models didn't seem too enthused either, but I suppose that can happen every once in a while.

Other than that, the remainder of the show was pretty consistent. I've created a special place in my heart for both Pearl and Mary Porter who took charge of the runway with their eclectic and eye-catching styles.

The biggest surprise of the night came from the otherwise subdued, Hampden Clothing, who teamed up with Project Runway's, Logan Neitzel, to create a punk-inspired collection that most certainly captured the crowd's attention.

Another night is wrapped up and in the books. Friday? Mary Mojo Boutique, BITON, V2V and featured designer, Ashley Reid.
