Ben Ham Images renovates Upper King Street galle

Ben Ham Images plans renovations to King Street gallery

Gallery announces new name to match new look

Charleston, S.C. –Ben Ham Images, a leading exclusive fine-art photography gallery based out of Hilton Head, S.C., is making some changes to the Charleston gallery, located at 416 King Street.  After a successful two years in business in Charleston, Ben Ham Images is embarking on major renovations this month to improve the overall retail location and art buying experience. In addition to the interior makeover, the gallery will officially reopen as The Ben Ham Gallery to match the new look.

Ben Ham opened his first gallery in Hilton Head, S.C. back in 2010, where he not only continues to sell his work, but also develops his film and personally builds each piece to ensure the highest quality, before shipping worldwide out of this 4,200 square foot facility.  As his following and business continued to grow, he decided to open the second gallery in January of 2013, where he continues to thrive on Upper King Street.  This 2,200 square foot space is the home to roughly 40 pieces of his large format landscape photographs.

The remodeling will transform the look and feel of his current design to focus more on the images and give customers an unforgettable buying experience, every time they visit the gallery.  The gallery will be closed starting January 24, 2016 and aim to reopen the following weekend.

The Ben Ham Gallery represents the work of full-time, landscape photographer Ben Ham, who works exclusively with a wooden field camera to capture his images on black and white sheet film. His limited edition prints are sold only as framed fine-art photography. Driven by a passion for exploring the great outdoors, his subjects range from the Lowcountry to the Pacific Coast and expand to unseen parts all over the planet. The Ben Ham Gallery offers a unique and transformative buying experience for his worldwide collectors. The first gallery and production facility is located on Hilton Head Island, S.C., at 90 Capitol Drive and the Charleston gallery is located at 416 King Street in historic downtown Charleston, S.C.  For more information, visit www.benhamimages.com.
