Why hide it? New gas station aims to please the eye

Originally the city had asked Arnie McClure of Coast Architects to hide the pumps of a new gas station, but McClure suggested instead to make the gas pumps and their canopy more eye pleasing.

And that's how the design of the new Kangaroo gas station on S.C. Highway 61 came to be.
