Girl Scouts open store in Myrtle Beach, helps troops locally

Horry County's first-ever Girl Scout retail store has opened right here in Myrtle Beach.

For years young badge-earners would have to order their supplies online or drive to Florence or Charleston. The money raised at the Horry County Girl Scout store stays in the area to help local girls, troops, and local community projects that the Girl Scouts are involved with. The store will help fund girls all over the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee.

Hop on over to SCnow.com to read and watch Libba Holland's full report. Sadly, the report does not mention if the store will have those delicious cookies for sale.
